Blue Tabi LLC operates Veira’s Vocab. This Privacy Policy explains how information may be processed when you use the app and how to contact us about that information.
Information the app may process
Veira’s Vocab may process an anonymous account identifier, an optional display name, sentence submissions and educational analysis results, submission dates, streaks and progress information, push-notification tokens and notification preferences, and basic technical information needed for security, diagnostics, and operation.
Because the app is designed around daily writing, sentence text may be stored with the associated daily word and analysis result. Please do not submit sensitive personal information in a sentence.
How information is used
We may use this information to deliver daily words; analyze sentence structure; maintain your submission history and streaks; display community top sentences; deliver optional notifications; prevent abuse; and maintain the reliability and security of the service.
Service providers
Veira’s Vocab uses Firebase services for authentication, cloud data, cloud functions, notifications, and app integrity and security. Submitted text may also be processed by service providers used to analyze sentences and produce educational results. These providers process information as needed to provide the app’s features and operate the service.
Community features
When a sentence is eligible for the app’s community top-sentence experience, your selected display name, sentence, sentence type, and related daily word may be displayed to other app users. Avoid including information in a sentence that you would not want others to see.
Notifications
Notifications are optional. If you enable them, the app may use a push-notification token and your selected notification preferences to send daily-word, reminder, or sentence-of-the-day notifications. You can change notification preferences in the app or in your device settings.
Data retention
We retain information only as reasonably necessary to operate the service and meet legal, security, and operational requirements. Deleting the app alone may not delete cloud data associated with your anonymous account.
Your choices and requests
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of relevant information by emailing purplestamp3@gmail.com. We may need information to locate and verify the relevant data before responding to a request.
Sale of personal information
Veira’s Vocab does not sell personal information.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards intended to protect information. No electronic storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be shown by a revised effective date on this page.
